Chop and Wok to open first London site

Birmingham based pan-asian restaurant chain Chop and Wok is set to open its sixth site and its first in London.

Opening on Margaret Street in Westminster at the end of October, the new site will become the company’s flagship site and like the others will serve an Asian fusion menu 'in a new age and conceptual environment' with a range of dishes, such as noodles, salads, wraps and sushi to eat-in or take away. It will also have a heavy reliance on technology with in-store iPads for customers to use.

Chop and Wok director Aman Bhandal said: '“We are unbelievably excited to bring Chop and Wok to Londoners in these coming months. We feel that London’s trendy, fast paced environment is the perfect match for our quirky, 'new-age' concept.

'Our hopes are that we can replicate the success we’ve had in Birmingham by continuing to inject innovation and fun into both our food and the dining experience we provide, and we sincerely hope that it will be received well.'

Founded by Bhandal four years ago, Chop and Wok’s other five sites are located in Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Quinton and Shirley. It will now continue to expand both nationally and in London and has already signed a franchise deal to open sites in the Middle East.
