The Slug and Lettuce at London's St Mary’s Axe in the City has reopened following a £250k investment by the Stonegate-owned brand.
The new makeover has seen the addition of three new front of house staff along with an innovative chef.
A pergola has been installed in the back section along with a new cocktail making station. The bar is also be the first of its kind to open on a Saturday within the area and with 2-for-1 cocktails Monday to Friday along with ‘Wine Down Wednesday’s’, the new offering will cater for a variety of celebrations from a ladies night out to a long leisurely lunch.
The new menu brings an innovative offering of Fast & Fresh where guests can sample everything from grilled sea bass, to a superfood salad and even alcoholic cream.
Tommy Cawley, General Manager said, “Business meetings and after-work drinks is such an integral part to the St Mary’s Axe site and we are expecting our brand new Fast & Fresh and cocktail offering to become a big hit in the City. With a new opening night on a Saturday, combined with our 2-for-1 cocktail offering, we are looking forward to bringing something fresh to the area.”
The bar is open at 8am-11pm Monday to Thursday and from 8am-12am Friday and Saturday.
