Grumpy Mule to open in Glasgow

Bewley's Coffee award-winning brand, Grumpy Mule is set to open a new outlet in Glasgow.

Having launched this month across the water in LA, Grumpy already has branded sites at various universities, including those in East Anglia, Leeds, Reading, Staffordshire, and Strathclyde.

Grumpy Mule was founded in 2006 and became part of the Bewley’s family in 2013, which is based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire.

Its mission has been to fight the blight of bad coffee – coffee that’s throwaway, unethically sourced and tastes like an industrial accident.

The brand's team sources fairly and sustainably, making sure that the growers share in its success. It sells coffee varieties online and through Waitrose, and also offers coffee beans roasted to order, plus coffee equipment.
