Busy Bees acquires Dundee nursery

The UK's largest nursery group, Busy Bees has acquired The Teddy Bear Club, the Dundee-based nursery with about 40 staff, for undisclosed terms.

Based on the ground floor of Ninewells Hospital, the Teddy Bear Club offers 92 places to children aged between three months and five years.

Busy Bees operates over 267 UK nurseries, and also operates 52 nurseries in Singapore and Malaysia.

In August, the company acquired Positive Steps Children’s Day Nurseries, a chain with eight childcare settings across the South East of England.
