National Wedding Show returns to London for a new season at the Olympia National this weekend, and events caterer Seasoned will be attending with partner venue Tower Bridge, showing attendees what they have to offer.
The National Wedding Show is an annual event with over 300 wedding specialists in attendance; from bridal boutiques and florists to jewellers and photographers, the event is known as the ultimate wedding shopping experience.
Colin Sayers, Managing Partner for Seasoned, said, “Few settings for a wedding could be more iconic and memorable than Tower Bridge, which has towered over the Thames enchanting its visitors for over 100 years.
'We’ve noticed an increase in wedding enquiries recently which is fantastic, but we know there’s still many couples out there that may not realise they can get married at Tower Bridge. So we’ve decided to exhibit at the National Wedding Show this year to showcase the facilities we have available for weddings at this world-famous venue.
Claire Taylor, Sales Manager for Seasoned, added, “Nowadays couples take their wedding day extremely seriously; they really want to throw the party of a lifetime. The average cost of a wedding is on the rise and the average guest number is falling; so less guests means more lavish spending on the ones that make the guestlist. We’ve also definitely noticed a trend of friendly one-upmanship and competitiveness between couples, and high profile celebrity weddings are constantly raising the bar higher and bringing new ideas.
“Often the single biggest wedding expenditure is venue hire, which explains why so many brides expect to go over their budget in their search for the perfect venue. We are confident that Tower Bridge is the perfect venue for that bride that is looking for somewhere iconic that will stand-out above the rest.'
Taylor continued, 'The high-level Walkways and the North Tower Lounge are licensed for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies, and offer some idyllic sceneries for couples to tie the knot looking out on. In addition to those panoramic views, the Victorian Engine Rooms provide an unforgettable setting in which couples can celebrate their big day and entertain guests in style.
'Food is another of the highest costs for a wedding, with couples becoming more ambitious about the food they want to offer their guests. Seasoned can make their ideal wedding menu possible by combining stylish and imaginative food at Tower Bridge.”
The National Wedding Show takes place at the Olympia National from 23 September - 25 September 2016.
