Le Bistrot Pierre plans to grow to 50 sites

Le Bistrot Pierre is planning to expand its 16-strong chain of French restaurants with six new outlets a year.

The company secured £9.8m investment from private equity firm Livingbridge at the end of last year and has plans to open up to 50 sites in the UK.

The 16th venue was opened last week in Weston-super-Mare and the plan is to open one every two months.

Le Bistro Pierre's third venue in Wales is to open next April at the £5.5m Oyster Wharf in Swansea.
