Spanish hotel group, Room Mate Hotels is planning to launch its first UK site in central London in 2018, and is eyeing areas such as Mayfair, Soho or Knightsbridge.
The boutique hotels offer free Wi-Fi, as well as WiMate, a free Wi-Fi service available in the host city via a portable router that offers 100MB of data per day for up to five devices. Also, breakfast is offered until noon and there is flexibility for late check-outs.
The company is also looking other global cities for expansion, like Paris, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco.
Founded in 2005, Room Mate opened its first site in Madrid and now operates 23 hotels in Europe, Turkey, United States, and Mexico City.
