Leman Locke by SACO introduces new all-day dining concept

East London’s new aparthotel concept, Leman Locke by SACO, which is set to open 24 October, is introducing Treves and Hyde restaurants, an innovative all-day dining experience.

At the new aparthotel, the restaurant will be serving everything from healthy breakfasts in the morning, through to lunch, dinner, and evening drinks.

The contemporary layout will consist of a casual cafe / bar and terrace area on the ground floor, featuring a spiral staircase that leads up to the main first floor restaurant and bar. Floor to ceiling windows create an abundance of natural light, whilst greenery and soft woods enhance the simplistic Scandinavian design, providing a warm and welcoming haven from the bustling London streets.

Expect to see fresh, healthy and exotic breakfasts such as Paleo granola with homemade hung yogurt and tree-ripened mango, as well as Burford Brown folded eggs with truffle and field mushrooms.

Using local and organic produce where practicable, the menus will regularly change to reflect seasonality of the ingredients. Lunch and dinner options will be nutritious and light. Treves and Hyde specialises in tartare’s and ceviche’s, flat breads with fresh toppings, and hearty bowls of delicious combinations - such as black cod with kale and brown rice or Hereford paprikash with red cabbage and buttered noodles.

The Treves and Hyde terrace will be a hub of activity (weather permitting) and feature an American-style smoker and Argentinian grill, offering dishes such as slow-cooked brisket, smoked lobster rolls and buttermilk wood-roasted chicken.

Meanwhile, the downstairs bar is well-stocked with a range of craft beers, top quality modern wines and, of course, some of the best cocktails in the city. There is also a range of mouth-watering bar snacks on offer - including Black Spot pork crackling straws with Bramley sauce, arancini with a melting Tallegio centre and dry-rub braised ribs.

And not forgetting the range of beverages on offer before cocktail hour, you can grab a Volcano organic coffee, Chash tea, slow maceration smoothie, Matcha latte or melted Valrhona chocolate anytime you need a caffeine fix.

Treves and Hyde will provide Leman Locke with the social immersion associated with the lifestyle hotel experience, whilst serving as a neighbourhood oasis to deliver a dynamic, all day dining experience to East London.

To coincide with Leman Locke’s grand opening, the downstairs eatery will be open with a reduced offering this October, whilst the main bar and restaurant will follow to open later in the year.

Leman Locke is to open a second venue in Edinburgh in early 2017.
