Michael O’Hare to launch three Manchester restaurants with Neville & Giggs

Michelin Chef Michael O’Hare is set to launch a ‘space-age Asian’ restaurant, the Rabbit in the Moon with ex-Manchester Utd footballers Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs as part of their GG Hospitality firm.

The restaurant will open with a soft launch this month and a full launch in January on the fifth and sixth floor of Manchester’s National Football Museum.

The restaurant will feature the same ad-hoc graffiti as the O’Hare’s Leeds restaurant The Man Behind the Curtain and will offer a fast paced evening tasting menu without cutlery alongside drinks created by Matt Whiley.

The team are also working together on restaurants The Man Who Fell to Earth and Are Friends Electric which will be located on Norfolk Street in Manchester. The opening dates are still to be confirmed.
