£50m luxury hotel & apartments planned for Plymouth Hoe

Plymouth City Council is to consider plans from Henley Real Estate to build a £50m five-star hotel and block of 80 luxury flats on the Hoe by 2020, with the creation of 75 jobs.

The scheme comprises of a luxury 60-bedroom boutique hotel, with conference facilities, a full gym and spa, and a 'panoramic penthouse' with a fine-dining restaurant.

On the ground floor there will be a bistro and bar overlooking a large terrace and every bedroom will be spacious and have full ocean views.

Alongside the hotel, which is named 1620 after the date of the sailing of the Mayflower, there will be a separate tower comprising 80 bespoke apartments.
