New French Bistro opens in Bloomsbury

Bon Vivant, an independently-owned new French bistro from Charmaine Abomnes, will open in the Bloomsbury area of London, on the former site of Balfour, in February 2017.

The 90m2 square foot space features 100 covers and includes a wrap-around terrace on the corner of Tavistock Place and Marchmont Street.

Open seven days a week from breakfast through to dinner, this casual neighbourhood restaurant’s menu offers French classics with a modern twist.

Lighter lunch dishes include a range of tartines, cheese and charcuterie boards, with signature dinner mains such as bavette steak with red wine jus and Magret de Canard.

There will also be a weekly-changing £19 two-course set lunch menu on offer, as well as a bottomless weekend brunch menu.

Charmaine Abomnes, Bon Vivant owner, commented, “We are delighted to be opening Bon Vivant in this unique part of London. We have created a modern interpretation of a Parisian bistro serving French food using impeccably sourced ingredients and a versatile offer that allows guests to pop in for a coffee, light lunch or three course meal.”
