Anton Piotrowski opens his first restaurant in Plymouth

Masterchef: The Professionals winner 2012 and Michelin starred chef, Anton Piotrowski has just opened his own restaurant in Plymouth, Brown & Bean, with friends Paul Brown and Ben McBean.

Piotrowski left the Treby Arms, Plymouth's only Michelin starred restaurant, for this new venture. The chef celebrated his tenure at the Sparkwell pub in his Facebook post and name checked the Michelin award he brought to the pub.

He stated, 'As many of you may have already heard, after seven long, successful years at The Treby Arms, yesterday I began my new venture at Brown & Bean. During this time I was awarded many accolades, including a Michelin Star which I retained for three consecutive years.

'This has been something I have deliberated over for quite some time now, and believe me when I say it wasn't an easy decision to make. For many reasons, both business and personal, I now feel it is time to move on and begin my new adventure with Paul Brown and Ben McBean - Afghan war hero.'

The new restaurant is on the site formerly known as WYB Burger, the ill-fated restaurant run by Piotrowski's brother, Stefan which closed its doors in late 2016.
