Compass Group's healthcare sector specialist, Medirest has been appointed to provide staff and visitor restaurant services for London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.
The move comes as an extension to a multi-service, multi-site contract that was announced last month and that went into the mobilisation phase just last week.
The new services added to the five-year deal will initially focus on Northwick Park Hospital and Ealing Hospital.
Medirest says its first step will be to enhance the restaurant facilities and the products on offer, emphasising choice, sustainability and healthy options for customers.
