St Austell Brewery relaunches wine division with new name & livery


St Austell Brewery’s dedicated wine division, Walter Hicks Wines, has been relaunched as St Austell Wines.

As one of the oldest wine specialists in the south west, it has been inspiring sommeliers, restaurateurs, hoteliers and publicans since 1851, has been relaunched.

People working in the hospitality sector in the region will get a first glimpse of the new livery when the St Austell Wines 2017 wine brochure is unveiled this month.

More than 750 wines feature in the new collection; the team have handpicked the best palate-pleasers from vineyards around the world. From fantastic house wines to prestige cuvées, the carefully curated guide features one of the most extensive selection of wines available to the licensed trade across the south west.

St Austell Wines’ new contemporary look cleverly incorporates the heritage of the business. Photos from the archives have been coupled with bold illustrative colours and designs to bring to life the variety and depth of the wine tasting notes. Cornwall-based Nixon design was appointed and tasked with the brand overhaul.
