Authentic southern American eatery & bar opens in Fulham

Stagolee’s Hot Chicken & Liquor Joint has opened in London's Fulham offering is authentic southern American comfort food and cocktails.

The new venue has been created by American pair Jordan Harris and Ashley James, a former sous chef at the Rainbow Room in New York. James was trained by Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens.

The menu serves up classics such as Mac and cheese and Buttermilk fried chicken, as well as more lesser known dishes in the UK such as Hot spinach dip with cheese & artichoke.

The drinks list offers a range of bourbons, imported American beers and moonshine-based cocktails, like Vanilla MoonPie or Mountain-rita - a margarita with a difference. All the moonshine varieties are imported from Kentucky.
