Deli, bar & bistro to open in SE London


Delicatessen, bar and bistro, Salt + Pickle is set to open in London's Crystal Palace offering cured, pickled and preserved foods, championing independent suppliers.

Created by Manish Utton-Mishra, who already operate the Good Taste Deli in the area, and designer Ian Haigh, the 30-cover site celebrates preserving techniques while working in collaboration with local producers.

The menu offers dishes such as Treacle-cured salmon and Homemade pastrami, married with beers from local breweries, like the nearby Gipsy Hill Brewery, and a range of wine from small producers.

Salt + Pickle will be open until 10pm every night when it opens in early June.
