Motu Indian Kitchen launches large party delivery service

Motu Indian Kitchen, the delivery-only kitchen opened by JKS Restaurants late last year, has announced the launch of its large party delivery service.

The service will allow customers to order refined versions of British Indian takeaway classics to any area of London with a minimum order of £100, meaning those not currently serviced by the three sites in Battersea, Camberwell and Canary Wharf will be able to get a taste of the kitchen’s acclaimed food.

Main dishes including Kashmiri Lamb Shank Roganjosh, Madras Prawn Masala and Paneer Butter Masala provide the perfect base for group dining, alongside side dishes, such as Samosa Cha and Tadka Dal, and starters of Chatpatta Tandoori Chicken Wings, and Gilafi Seekh Kebab.

Motu’s speciality Feast Boxes, which take inspiration from the traditional tiffins used to distribute meals to workers across Indian cities, include a main dish, as well as Kachumber Raita, Pappadums, Mango Chutney, Naan and Pilau Rice. The drinks offering includes traditional Indian soft drinks Limca lemonade and Thums Up cola as well as Cobra beer, providing the final touch for a top curry night in.

Named after the Sethi siblings’ affectionate nickname for their uncle, meaning ‘Fat Man’ in Hindi, Motu launched its first site in October 2016 servicing areas of South West London from its Deliveroo Editions kitchen base in Battersea and was quickly named one of the ‘100 best things in the world right now’ by GQ Magazine.

This was followed by the opening of the Camberwell kitchen catering to areas of South East London in December last year and most recently the Canary Wharf site in February which opens for lunch and dinner, catering to both hungry city workers and local residents alike.

The launch of Motu’s large party delivery service this May will give diners all over the capital the opportunity to enjoy restaurant quality Indian dishes delivered personally to their doors.
