Vita Mojo reaches £1.5m crowdfunding target just hours after launching

Fast-growing quick service restaurant chain and software company, Vita Mojo is celebrating reaching its £1.5m crowdfunding target on Crowdcube just hours after launching the campaign.

Vita Mojo is offering a 7.18% equity stake in the company in return for the investment, and currently has £1.56m from 199 backers with 25 days remaining.

Founded by Nick Popovici and Stefan Catiou, and backed by catering giant Elior, the brand serves up healthy customised meals from two London restaurants and one delivery-only site. The new funds will be invested in expansion of the brand.

There is a daily-changing selection of salads to eat in or take out for lunch through to 9pm, and allows customers to choose the exact amount of each ingredient which goes into them.

Using in-store iPads, Vita Mojo’s website or the bespoke app, diners can choose the quantities of each component by sliding bars up or down. As they do, charts automatically show how this affects the meal’s nutritional breakdown, as well as the price.
