M Restaurants to launch capital’s first Whisky & Tequila Bar

Multi award-winning brand M Restaurants is to mark London Food Month on Tuesday 6 June with the launch of the capital’s first Whisky and Tequila Bar in M BAR Threadneedle Street.

Exclusively for the LFM event, M will be offering two whisky or tequila cocktails and a bite of puffed beef or wagyu biltong, which will have been cured in a choice of a Don Julio or Johnny Walker marinade.

Among the liquid highlights of the M BAR menu are Dr Sergio’s Penicillin, a mix of Don Julio Blanco, Lagavulin 16, ginger, honey and lemon, all served from the world’s first drinkable piece of art!

Meanwhile, the Bar Food menu, created by executive chef Michael Reid, fresh from his recent appearance on BBC Two’s Great British Menu, will be a wholly wagyu affair, featuring the likes of Bone Marrow Popcorn and Wagyu Short Ribs, which are slow cooked over wood.
