Japan Centre to open new SW1 flagship food hall in September

The Japan Centre group is to launch a new flagship store in London's Haymarket next month.

The Japanese food hall, which will come with a 100-seater courtyard, will evoke the feeling of traditional Japanese basement food halls.

The three specialist rooms will cover tea, fresh miso and sake. In all of these expect a large range of Japanese goods, many exclusive to Japan Centre, as well as experts to guide you through.

The main food hall will include a Japanese bakery, fruit and vegetable stalls, fresh sashimi fish and meat counters. There will also be a demo kitchen and a deli with freshly prepared ramen, hand pulled udon, Japanese curry, and a wide variety of gyoza and tempura.
