Former Chancery chef to open French restaurant in Clerkenwell this autumn


A brand new French restaurant from former head chef of The Chancery, Yuma Hashemi, is set to open in Clerkenwell in the autumn.

The new venue, called The Drunken Butler will open on Rosebery Avenue and will focus on French cuisine with Persian influences.

The menu will include Pigeon and couscous-pastilla, Salt baked sea bass, Grilled cheese and brioche and Foie gras with burnt leeks.

The venue will be open for coffee and pastries from Monday’s to Saturdays and will offer a lunch service from Mondays to Fridays and a dinner service from Wednesdays to Saturday’s.
