Robinsons Brewery to host second Robbie’s Beer Festival

Robinsons Brewery is set to hold its annual Robbie’s Beer Festival, in association with Stockport and South Manchester CAMRA, from Friday 22 to 23 September, in celebration of Stockport Beer Week.

The beer festival, now in its second year, was attended by over 600 beer lovers last year all hoping to get their mitts on their favourite pint of Robinsons’ award-winning cask ales and discover some of the best scoops that independent North West brewers had to offer.

Olivia Wilson, General Manager for Robinsons Visitors Centre said: “Last year’s festival was a huge success and we are delighted it will be returning to the Visitors Centre again this year. The UK’s cask ale and craft beer scene is booming and this is a great way to introduce our customers to some of the best the country has to offer.

This year, Robbies Beer Festival will be bigger and better with 25 great beers and ciders including brews from Macclesfield’s Red Willow brewery, along with guest beers from Torrside Brewery, Tatton Brewery and Stockport’s own Fool Hardy Ales. The festival will also feature live music and delicious food throughout the weekend.

“We were blown away by the response last year and we hope that this year’s event will be the same. We want to invite everyone to join us on the 22nd and 23rd and help us celebrate our nation’s favourite drink!”

Advance tickets to Robbies Beer Festival cost just £4 and include entry into the event and a branded beer festival glass. Tickets will be available on the door for £5 during the festival.
