John Smith’s Stadium reports highly successful Xmas season

The John Smith’s Stadium, home to Premier League Football Team Huddersfield Town and the Super League Rugby Team Huddersfield Giants, is kicking off 2018 in style by celebrating a fantastic Christmas season for corporate event bookings.

With over 1,600 turkey dinners served, 3,000 glasses of wine poured, and 1,800 pigs in blankets, the event space hosted 2,359 people over seven festive nights. This included seven shared parties and six private parties, made up of mostly local businesses but also a couple of key partners for both Huddersfield Town and the Huddersfield Giants.

To accompany the delicious food on offer, all provided by Kudos, The John Smith's Stadium organised a selection of live music acts. The Jack Rabbits took to the stage on the 2nd December, Agent Smith performed on the 9th, and Little Rebels entertained party-goers on the 16th.

Kudos Food Director, David Cavalier, said, 'We were delighted to cater for all guests and ensured that our menus were jam-packed full of locally sourced fresh ingredients. At the heart of Kudos' ethos lies sustainability, so we were able to maintain The John Smith’s Stadium's environmentally friendly credentials.'

Kudos is a boutique business within the catering industry. The company ethos revolves around creating spectacular culinary delights using only the best locally sourced ingredients.
