Robinsons launches first new seasonal beer

Stockport-based brewers, Robinsons Brewery, has just revealed its first brand new seasonal beer of 2018: Beer Baracus.

“Drink it, fool!” - Robinsons’ 2018 seasonal range kicks off with Beer Baracus; a chestnut ale available throughout February and March. This 4.4% ABV powerhouse of a beer interlaces delicious notes of toffee, biscuit, malt and citrus, and boasts an alluring scent of spicy hop.

Gill Yates, Brands Manager at Robinsons Brewery, said, “We trialled the ‘big screen theme’ in 2016 with ‘Hop Gun’; inspired by the 1980's hit film Top Gun. It proved to be the perfect wingman selling just under 135,000 pints in 2 months, so we continued with the same theme for 2017, and now in 2018 with a focus on iconic movie characters.

'Altogether in 2017, we sold 800,928 pints of our seasonal beers, so we’ve witnessed just how popular they are. We’ve worked really hard on designing this year’s inventive line up, and hope our drinkers really enjoy our first seasonal beer of the year.”

The innovative pump clip is instantly recognisable, fashioning a great presence on the bar. Beer Baracus is illustrious and relatable amongst drinkers on a personal level, allowing them to share memories and experiences associated with the classic movie themed ale.

Available throughout February and March in cask only; in selected Robinsons pubs, selected free trade and national account customers and Robinsons Visitors Centre.
