The Works to open third site in Chelmsford

The Works fast-casual restaurant, which has two outlets, is set to open a third branch in Chelmsford, Essex, serving up the brand's homemade ice cream, waffle and crepes.

The new venue will open on 30 April, joining sister sites in Aylesbury and High Wycombe. It will be open from early morning, serving breakfast and offering a wide selection of floats and milkshakes. Also for drinks, there are cocktails and a selection of wine and beer.

Diners can eat in or take away an array of sweet and savoury choices including Caramel popcorn brownie sundae, the Dirty dog wrap or waffle with Frankfurter sausage, pulled pork, Monterey Jack cheese, BBQ sauce and dill pickle. There are also salads and hot desserts.

The company was founded in 2014 by husband and wife team, Roger and Elaine Bolton. With over 30 years of experience in the food industry, Roger had been looking to create an exciting and new style of eating out.
