Olive clinches trio of new contracts with ITV

Leading independent workplace caterer, Olive Catering Services has been awarded three new contracts by commercial TV network, ITV.

The new agreements will see Olive open staff restaurants at Trafford Wharf Road, home to Coronation Street; Orange Tower at Manchester’s MediaCity; and Leeds Television Centre.

With turnover in excess of £6m over the contract tenure and over 1,700 employees to cater for across the three sites, Olive will be tasked with bringing its tailored menus and commitment to fresh food into some of the country’s most prestigious media locations.

Each location will boast deli bars, specialist coffee counters, and a hospitality and events provision – making them ideally suited to the diverse needs of ITV’s staff, cast members, and crew.

Angela Linsky, Operations and Service Delivery Manager (North) at ITV, commented, “We cannot wait for Olive to bring its refreshing and honest approach to workplace catering onto our sites in Leeds and Manchester.

'From the moment we first came into contact, we knew the brand was a great cultural fit for ITV. The support on offer at a local level will prove to be a real asset to our catering teams.”

Damon Brown, Olive’s Co-Founder, added, “ITV is a fantastic brand to be working with and we are excited to open three superb facilities where we can show just how passionate we are about producing amazing food.

'Each of the three sites is iconic in its own right, and we couldn’t wish for a better way to mark our entry into the thriving media industry – a new sector to add to our growing portfolio.”
