Deliveroo unveils world’s first burger billboard as 10m UK burgers sold

Deliveroo has today unveiled the world’s first billboard made entirely out of burgers, all of which are free for hungry members of the public to eat.

Standing at a whopping four metres high and six metres wide, the enormous structure has been erected to encourage customers everywhere to Eat More Amazing, while also celebrating the fact that Deliveroo has now delivered 10 million burgers in the UK.

Deliveroo revealed in December that burgers are the UK’s favourite takeaway meal. For that reason, the double decker bus-sized billboard has been constructed using literally thousands of burgers from some of Deliveroo’s most popular burger joints.

These include meaty classics from GBK, Byron, Bleecker Burger, Polo, and Beer + Burger. But vegetarian and beef-averse burger lovers need not fear, veggie and chicken options are available too.

Emily Kraftman, Deliveroo’s Head of Marketing for UK and Ireland said, “We know that the UK loves burgers as it’s one of the most popular dishes ordered on Deliveroo. That’s why we’ve decided to celebrate this upcoming milestone delivery and remind people that every meal is a chance to eat more amazing. We’re excited to welcome thousands of people to enjoy the huge variety of burgers on offer for free, today.”

The burger billboard will be open to the public from 12pm to 7pm (or until stocks last) today at Ely’s Yard Street Food UK Ltd (by The Old Truman Brewery), 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL.

The current list of the UK’s most popular burgers on Deliveroo are:
Taxidriver from GBK (London)
Five Guy's Cheese Burger from Five Guy's (London)
Smashburger from Smashburger (Brighton)
Byron Burger from Byron Burger (Oxford)
Mighty Joe Burger from Archies (Liverpool)
Cluckwhich from Mother Clucker (London)
Beef Burger from Atomic Burger (Bristol)
Tribute Burger from Honest Burger (London)
BC Burger from The Boozy Cow (Edinburgh)
Dirty Burger from Dirty Burger (London)
