Cats Pyjamas opens third site with fourth to follow

Growing restaurant brand, The Cat’s Pyjamas has opened its third site in York this week, which joins sister sites in Leeds and the original venue in Headingley.

The authentic Indian street food and craft beer brand will also be opening a new restaurant in Wakefield in Burgage Square shortly.

Leeds-based Scottish entrepreneur Alison White set up the first Cat's Pyjamas in Headingley. She worked closely with Alfred Prasad, the youngest Indian chef to ever receive a Michelin star, who crafted the menu.

Dishes include the Tandoori Mixed Grill (pictured), which consists of succulent malai tikka, gilafi seekh kebab and juicy prawns grilled in a tandoor oven, then served with a tandoori salad and mint chutney. Also, Whole fresh tandoori seabream marinated in lemongrass, red chilli, ginger and lime, served with sauce and steamed rice.
