Pucci set to open in Mayfair next month

Pucci is to open on Maddox Street in Mayfair in mid-November, and has a connection to now-closed Chelsea institution, Pucci Pizza, where the likes of Rod Stewart and Bryan Ferry used to dine back in the 70s.

Pucci Albanese's son Rufus (pictured left) will be operating front of house and the menu will feature pizzas using the same family recipe served at the infamous King's Road restaurant.

Former Noma and Gordon Ramsay Group chef, Tilly Turbett (right) will head up the kitchen, serving up small plates and pizza. Turbett designed a menu that incorporates Italian, Turkish and Lebanese influences, but will use British produce whenever possible.

Dishes will include Glazed Barbary duck breast with pomegranate molasses & sweet potato, Wild sea bass crudo with chilli, melon and lime oil, and Harissa-charred cauliflower with green tahini & pomegranate. For sweet treats, baklava millefeuille with honey cream, pistachio & rose.

Next summer, Pucci will also have an outdoor side-street terrace.
