British parents have revealed the ways they can minimise stress when organising a birthday party for their children, following a poll run by Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery.
For many children, the annual birthday party is one of the most exciting days in the calendar. However, throwing a fun-filled kids’ bash while keeping a room of excitable children happy, without breaking the bank, can leave parents feeling under pressure.
Results from the poll revealed that 90% of parents prefer to host their child’s party away from their own home, with stress and mess found to be the top reasons behind this choice.
Operation clean-up was also named as one of the main things that mums and dads would prefer to avoid, whilst entertainment was voted an essential party ingredient to ensure the little ones are kept busy. A decisive 95 % of parents said it was important to them to select a venue that is close to home to help things run smoothly on the day.
The results of the survey were announced to launch Stonehouse’s new pizza parties. A special celebration party saw children and staff come together to create a one-off rainbow pizza which featured a colourful array of healthy veggies for all to enjoy.

Stonehouse pizza parties are available at all Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery restaurants. The package gives the little ones a chance to become pizza chefs for the day complete with mini chef hats, aprons and a special goody-bag to take home.
The parties are priced at £6.99 per child and are available at all 90 Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery sites across the UK.
