Cambridge plant-based eatery set to launch first London site

The plant-based eatery brand, Stem + Glory is set to launch its first London site on 14 January in Bartholomew’s Close, London EC1.

A successful crowdfunding scheme in March saw the Cambridge-based business exceed its target of £350k to fund the third outlet.

The company currently operates a cafe and a restaurant in Cambridge, and like these sister sites, the new London outlet will offer fast and fresh eat in or take away lunches, sandwiches and wraps.

For lunch there's a wide selection of hot and cold dishes that can be enjoyed there or taken away in three different sizes of take away box. There's also weekday breakfast, weekend brunch, and a wide range of vegan cakes and snacks.

Based on the Cambridge offer, expected dishes to include Kimchi pancakes with yangnyeomjang dipping sauce, Luxury gluten-free lasagne made with slow roasted aubergine & courgette, BBQ Jackfruit burger, Thai Coconut ramen, and Mango, coconut & ginger cheesecake.

There will be yet-to-be-revealed new dishes at the London opening, plus a new vegan evening dining concept, with special events and special seven-course tasting menus planned too.

For beverages, there will be juices, smoothies and coffee in from Caravan Roastery, plus a wide range of craft beers.
