City institution to relaunch with new F&B offer this month

One Under Lime Cafe & Bar, one of the Square Mile’s most popular drinking and dining venues, will relaunch with a new food and drink offering later this month.

Nestled beneath landmark building Lloyd’s of London on Lime Street, the 42-cover One Under Lime Cafe & Bar will be open for brasserie-style daytime dining and evening bar snacks under the direction of Executive Chef, Peter Flint.

A brand-new drinks list will also be introduced along with subtle design changes to the bar to make service more efficient.

The breakfast menu will feature favourites including the full English, eggs a variety of ways and lighter options such as Greek yoghurt with orange blossom honey, alongside a new and improved coffee offering.

For lunch, diners can choose between the specially-curated selection of small plates to share, including panko-crusted squid with lemon aioli and Ragsdale goats cheese tartlet.

Larger plates are a twist on traditional favourites such as Lark Valley gammon with two butter-fried duck eggs, the classic burger and a Power Boost salad. Evening bar snacks will include artisan Mediterranean scotch eggs and handcrafted Londoner sausage rolls.

From the summer, the 100-cover outdoor terrace will welcome a brand new outside bar, continuing to be a staple for City workers Monday to Friday and available for private hire on weekends.
