Further to a £750k investment from Yorkshire Bank, Optimum has kicked off its expansion plans with the purchase of its 22nd site in the Old Swan district, which was formerly the Red House pub.
Optimum, which has been a franchisee of the coffee chain for nine years, currently operates 21 Costa Coffee outlets and aims to open a further 10 sites, including the pub purchase, on Merseyside.
Optimum is a diverse group with five different companies including a vending firm, Merseyvend, and Energie Fitness Clubs which operates six outlets.
