UK TV chef Jun Tanaka has opened The Ninth on Charlotte Street in London's Fitzrovia offering a casual French-Mediterranean sharing menu with contemporary plates, as well as raw and cured dishes.
The 2,750 sq ft venue incorporates a 43-cover dining space on the ground floor, plus eight covers on a small terrace, and a further 43-cover dining area on the first floor.
Tanaka has worked under the tutelage of such eminent names as Michel Roux Jnr, Marco Pierre White, Nico Ladenis and Eric Chavot. More recently he worked as Executive Chef at Pearl in Holborn, gaining three AA Rosettes.
