Boutique hotel group, Malmaison Hotel du Vin has secured planning permission for a venue in Stratford upon Avon, which will open at the end of the year, creating 60 jobs.
The scheme includes the restoration of two Georgian buildings in Rother Street - owned by the Stratford Town Trust - transforming it into a stylish 48-bed hotel.
Facilities at the Hotel du Vin hotel will include meeting and private dining rooms, a Bistro and a separate banqueting room with the capacity to seat 80 diners.
The development will be in keeping with the Grade II listed status of the buildings.
