Hull pub set to become Harvester restaurant

Mitchells & Butlers-owned Harvester is set to convert the Oystercatcher pub in Hull into its own-brand restaurant.

The Gibraltar Way pub on the Kingswood Retail Park will become the latest outlet of the family farmhouse-style restaurant chain in May. Refurbishment will start on 4 April.

Although Harvester has 200 outlets around the UK this will be its first in the region.

The new Harvester Oystercatcher will have room for more than 160 guests and will create 15 new jobs.

The Oystercatcher is being refurbished following Mitchells & Butlers' acquisition of 173 former Orchid pub sites in 2014.
