Independent charity Historic Royal Palaces has hosted a drinks reception at Banqueting House to welcome its new palace suppliers and congratulate those who have retained their position.
As part of the evening, suppliers were given a preview of the newly renovated Banqueting House, which has just reopened to the public and for events.
The new supplier lists at the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House and Kensington Palace (pictured) are in place until 2018 and include both new and existing suppliers.
Cross-palace suppliers include caterers Blue Strawberry, By Word of Mouth and Rhubarb.
Existing suppliers that have retained their position on the palace lists include Ampersand, Event Concept, Food by Dish, Hayford & Rhodes, Pinstripes and Peonies, Wise Productions and Zafferano.
Liz Young, Head of Events at Historic Royal Palaces, said, “We had a fantastic evening at Banqueting House to celebrate our new and existing suppliers, some of which will work across each of the palaces while others will be exclusive to particular palaces. Our rigorous tender process ensures only the best suppliers who are well versed in working with our heritage sites make the list.
“We are committed to providing a range of versatile suppliers to clients who can offer innovative and exciting options for events at the palaces and who play their part in shaping events and the history of the palaces. We are looking forward to working with our new and existing suppliers to continue to host the most spectacular events at these palaces.”
