Viva Brazil to open largest £1.2m restaurant


Viva Brazil to open fifth site in Bennetts Hill, Birmingham, which will be company's largest among its estate, following a £1.2m investment.

The 200-cover authentic-style Brazilian steak house is set across two floors, and is due to launch in September, creating 40 jobs.

Viva Brazil was launched in Liverpool in 2010 by Andy Aldrich since when it has opened restaurants in Glasgow, Cardiff and a fourth in Newcastle later this summer.

'Passadors' hand carve a selection of slow-cooked meats from large skewers in front of customers alongside a salad bar and hot Brazilian dishes, fruit, cold meat and sauces.

The bar also serves a traditional Brazilian cocktail called Caipirinha which is made using locally sourced cachaça rum, freshly squeezed limes and sugar.
