WhiteOaks, the care business within Compass, has won a three-year contract with Staffordshire Housing Association worth approximately £500,000. This will be the first time WhiteOaks has partnered with a housing association and will provide a restaurant service for residents and the local community.
They will be serving home cooked meals everyday and run additional services such as a café and a cooked brunch on a Sunday. It will also offer afternoon teas, themed days and barbecues in an aim of creating a welcoming community for residents and their visitors.
There are around 130 residents at the West End Village in Stoke-on-Trent which benefits from a range of community facilities including restaurant, bar, therapy and fitness suite, hairdresser and general store.
