Chefs Enrique Vivas and Jorge Felizardo have opened their second permanent Del 74 restaurant in London.
The first Del 74 opened as a permanent site earlier in the year on Lower Clapton Road, following a stint as a pop up in Klub Trop cocktail bar in 2016.
Cantina Del 74 has opened at the back of Helgi’s Bar on Mare Street in London Fields and serves Mexican food and frozen margaritas.
The menu offers a lot of the same dishes as the original including fish tacos alongside cochinita pibil and there are new dishes to try including chicken thigh taco with cucumber salsa.
Felizardo said of the restaurant, 'It’s Icelandic in the front, Mexican in the back – like a bad haircut.'
