Event caterer Dish has won a rolling contract to offer event catering services to the London Eye Barracuda, Merlin Entertainment’s newest venue. The value of the deal has not yet been disclosed.
Dish will produce over 100 events per year and create a range of canapé, bowl, lunch and dinner menus exclusive to the venue. They will take over from caterers Rhubarb Food Design who were sole caterers for the Barracuda. They will now provide services for Olympic events and continue to provide services across the Merlin Events London Venues.
Acquired by Merlin from Wood’s Silver Fleet in March 2011, the London Eye Barracuda can accommodate for up to 230 reception-style or 140 seated for dinner and is available for private and corporate events.
