Breakfast Club set to open new Soho site

The Breakfast Club is to open a second Soho restaurant in the next week or two, having taken over the old Polpetto site on Berwick Street.

The company said that the new site will hopefully ease the queuing situation that currently is the curse of the current Soho branch on D'Arbly Street.

The all-day breakfast menu will serve up favourites such as The Full Monty with bacon, sausage, Doreen’s black pudding, home-style potatoes, creamy mushrooms, beans, tomato, eggs & toast, The Full Vegan - Scrambled tofu, bhaji, southern greens, toasted rye, tomato relish & avocado.

There will also be the Club Burritto with scrambled egg, refried beans, peppers, guacamole, sour cream, cheddar, jalapeños & spicy pepper sauce - plus chorizo, halloumi or jackfruit. The Mexican Benny comes with poached eggs, peppers, avocado, chillies & hollandaise on English muffin with a choice of fried chicken or chorizo.

The Ringer Stinger Chicken Stack are made up of pancakes, fireball buttermilk chicken, cheese, lettuce, chilli mayo, salsa, hash brown & sesame seeds, and there's the Shrimp & Kimchee Burger with spicy shrimp popcorn, crunchy kimchi & Korean ketchup-mayonnaise.

Founded by Alison Rooney and Jonathan Arana-Morton, The Breakfast Club opened on Soho's on D'Arbly Street in 2005, and now operates 11 sites.
