Tommis Burger Joint opening second London restaurant

Icelandic burger chain Tommi’s Burger Joint, is set to open a second London site, on the King’s Road in Chelsea, at the beginning of next year.

Like its current London site on Marylebone Lane, the new site will offer the exact same menu, with meat from HG Walter butchers in Barons Court, and bread from Millers Bakery. Burgers again be cooked on an American gas grill, garnished in the classic diner style. The site will continue serving special Icelandic beer, Viking, alongside wine, regular beers, and home-made milkshakes made from Icelandic ice-cream.

The site joins other burger restaurants on the Kings Road such as Byron and BRGR.Co.

Tommi’s, which is the creation of entrepreneur Tomas Tómasson, first launched in London with a pop-up site in Marylebone in 2012, before securing its current site in August 13. It is thought that an expansion of the brand in the UK is now on the cards.
