Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London launches external catering arm

The prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London hotel has launched its own external catering arm which will offer food and drink services to a number of other high-end venues in the capital.

Based in Knightsbridge, the Mandarin Oriental will offer the services to the Orangery at Kensington Palace, the Wellington Arch, the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Blenheim Palace and the West Wycombe Estate.

The hotel, which is owned by the Jadine Matheson Group, is however currently a negative talking point with some due to Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, which is located within the hotel, being closed pending an investigation into an outbreak of norovirus allegedly linked to the site.

The hotel is also home to Bar Boulud, run by internationally acclaimed chef Daniel Boulud.
