Former Victorian shooting lodge, The Braemar Lodge hotel in Aberdeenshire, has come to market through Colliers International with a price tag of over £1.2m.

In addition to the main hotel, Braemar Lodge offers a range of accommodation including a 12-bed bunkhouse hostel, which is next to the hotel, and nine self-catering chalets in the grounds.

Braemar benefits from an influx of summer visitors generating regular repeat custom to the Braemar Lodge Hotel and the chalets. As well as the array of golf courses, fishing, shooting in the area the locality is a year round destination and with the proximity of the Glenshee ski slopes to Braemar that too brings additional business.

Sellers Ronnie and Fiona Moore are retiring, having owned Braemar Lodge since 1996. During their period of ownership have extensively refurbished the main property and added the bunkhouse and all of the self-catering chalets. The dining and restaurant facilities have been recently extended.
