Loungers & Papa Johns to open at Bristol shopping centre

Cafe-bar chain, Loungers and American restaurant franchise company, Papa John's are to open outlets at Yate Shopping Centre in Bristol.

Loungers (pictured) has taken a 3,500 sq ft (325 sq m) site and Papa John’s will open a 1,260 sq ft (117 sq m) unit. They will join other key F&B brands at the complex including Prezzo, Nando's, Frankie & Benny's, Hotcha, Costa, Subway and Greggs.

Yate Shopping Centre provides over 550,000 sq ft (51,097 sq m) of retail space. The centre forms the entire retail destination of Yate with occupiers including Tesco, Marks and Spencer, and Boots.

Alex Kalebic, associate director in the retail team at Savills Bristol who secured the leases, commented, “We are delighted to have secured these new retailers for the town, further enhancing Yate Shopping Centre’s reputation as a retail destination.

'The centre is a large, well-let scheme that benefits from a strong catchment population and annual footfall in the centre standing at around 12 million people. We are currently in discussion with a number of other retailers looking to take space in the centre.”
