Jolly Fine Pub Group co-owner to take over as business partner departs

The Jolly Fine Pub Group has announced that chef and co-owner, Paul Merrett (pictured), will take the helm as co-owner Greg Bellamy steps down.

The company currently has three pubs with rooms in its portfolio; The Fox and Grape in Wimbledon, The Malt House in Fulham, and the newly refurbishedThe Victoria in East Sheen.

Bellamy has co-owned The Victoria with chef, Paul Merrett for over nine years, as well as co-owning the more recently acquired Fox and Grapes and The Malthouse. He is moving on to pursue new business opportunities within the hospitality industry.

Merrett commented, “After nearly a decade of working together, I am very sad to see Greg go – our close working relationship has meant we have achieved some great things together and he will be sorely missed. I look forward to hearing about Greg’s next venture in due course and, of course, wish him all the very best.”

Meanwhile, The Jolly Fine Pub Group will continue to operate as normal under Merrett's stewardship. The recently refurbished Victoria in East Sheen is of primary focus at the moment where Merrett is currently implementing a new menu.
