Apex Hotels has collected a top industry accolade at this year’s HR Network Scotland National Awards, scooping HR Team of the Year.
The hotel’s HR team, which oversees around 1,050 employees across 13 locations including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, London, and the newly launched Apex City of Bath Hotel, was recognised for its ability to support its workforce within the fast paced, labour intensive industry.
The annual awards, which took place at a glittering ceremony at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel, were organised by human resource specialists HR Network Scotland and celebrated the very best organisations within the HR industry in Scotland.
Picking up HR Team of the Year, Apex Hotels was praised for the way it delivers its HR Strategy, ensuring the brand employs customer centric people, ranging from those just leaving school to those looking to further their experience within the hospitality sector.
In addition, Apex Hotels was also nominated for Talent Management Programme of the Year, for the team’s strong links with educational institutions and their Pre Apprenticeship programme.
The Pre Apprenticeship programme, which was launched in collaboration with Craigroyston High School, promotes hospitality as a viable and rewarding career option and helps pupils into a sustainable career path within the industry.

The Awards Gala Dinner attracted over 800 guests from the world of HR and People Development and Management in Scotland and is regarded as the ‘must attend’ event in the Scottish business calendar.
