After successfully launching the first permanent site in Brixton last month,Thunderbird Fried Chicken is to open a second outlet in the heart of central London next month.

Headed up by racing car driver turned ‘Wing King’ Matt Harris, the new eatery will be situated on Villiers Street site, the central London avenue which connects Covent Garden to The Strand.

The menu at Villiers Street will feature firm Thunderbird favourites, including the Thunderbun and Chipuffalo Wings, as well as the Salted Caramel Chicken Wings which have put guests in a frenzy since they were first showcased at Brixton.

Matt said, “I have been blown away with the response we have received since opening our first permanent home in Brixton. I can’t contain my excitement about opening our new baby in the heart of central London.”

Harris and his team of fried chicken connoisseurs were made famous for their Wings’, ‘Buns’ and ‘Pieces’ at street food platforms, Dinerama and Giant Robot.
