Gibson Hall hosts Vertical Rush in 11th year running

Grade I-listed events venue, Gibson Hall hosted runners from the charity event, Vertical Rush for the 11th consecutive year.

The epic race, organised by Shelter, is an annual event that challenges contestants to conquer 932 steps and 600ft, in London’s iconic skyscraper, Tower 42.

Event preparation began at 6:30am, where volunteers and staff primed Gibson Hall for pre and post-race briefings for 1,000 runners; with the first wave of runners starting the intensive endeavour at 8am and then in hourly waves until 7pm.

Kudos, the exclusive caterer for the venue, provided refreshments on the day keeping runners fuelled and energised.

Chief executive of Kudos, Matthew Herter, commented, “We’re thrilled to be a part of Vertical Rush, a fantastic event for a great cause. Shelter do an amazing job of raising crucial funds. We are proud to support them on the day to help them achieve their goals.”

Gibson Hall annually hosts the charity, offering discounted charity venue hire rates for exclusive access to the whole venue.
